In "A Brother's Murder" the author basically wants to point out the growing number of young black males killing other black males to improve their manhood. On the other story the author tried to imply that being black in that period was very difficult because they were not looked upon as much as the white people of the same age and also that black people were only entertainment for white people.

These stories made me get to the conclusion that stereotyping does not make any good to our society, however people like to make a difference anyway possible.
