Multiculturalism, is very back bone of the country that we live in.The united States from its very earliest existence has been a melting pot of different cultures. Immigrants have always gone to life threating extents to immigrate to this country to find a better life. Both of the above mentioned works are tales of immigrant who immigrate to the United States in extremist circumstances. The film El Norte was released in 1983, it made a very big statement because it was the first to portray Latin Americans in a assertive position.
