Globalization in this decade has gained extreme importance than in late nineties. There has been a sudden interest in this issue and it has become a topic to debate about. In the present times, the contentious issue regarding sociological, cultural, political and economic pros and cons associated with globalization, have been brought into light. There are various definitions of globalization but the most accepted definition is "a process which leads to the opening up of cultures, ensuring the sharing knowledge and information which will finally result in a global economy and global society" (John Beyon).As clear from the definition that globalization is not a phenomenon, which would happen at once but will take certain period of time to complete itself. This process would also change the dynamics of regional cultures and bring the different cultures of the world to choose each other. The economic scenario of the world would change entirely and make the global economy more competitive and fast paced. Globalization has taken pace in last two decade because the world has become more digitized and the need for mutual understanding was felt greatly. Political interest always play a vital role in determining or shaping the politics of various countries, sometimes a complete movement can be launched which would be influenced by a certain political philosophy. We can take a look in history when World War II broke out mainly because of a philosophy of one person Hitler. So it is important that whenever an idea or concept comes into light than the entire factor associated with it should be analyzed carefully. Many political scholars think that globalization would result in political stabilization in most parts of the world because same philosophy. That is economic prosperity, cultural integration and social interaction are present behind the globalization. However there is another school of thought which believes that globalization will create political imbalance because of difference in political cultures of various parts of the world. These scholars believe that the developed countries would force the underdeveloped countries to adopt all the ways necessary to enforce the implementation of globalization and in this way the developed countries would use all the developed countries would use all the mean including political cultural economic means. All scholars economist, sociologist should try to reach on a moderate point of view so that globalization could be diverted to such a direction that it can ensure benefits to all and reduce the grievance and deprivations of the underdeveloped countries. Only in that way a worldwide acceptance for globalization can be produced and this is necessary and vital to have a balanced and cohesive global world. It is important that every community has strong bonds and ties with culture in which that community is living and an attempt to force change in that culture can be considered as a negative impact on that community. Globalization can affect various aspects of society and one of them is culture. Culture is widely recognized as a way of living for a particular society. A culture is a mixture of norms, values and traditions, which develop over a long period of time. Each and every society has a unique culture and community living in that society is committed to that culture, however culture is not a stagnant medium because it changes with the passage of time.
