A detailed Summary of CPR
Scenario 1: Conscious Person, Difficulty Breathing
i. Check the Scene to figure out what happened and so you don't become a victim.
ii. Identify yourself as a person trained in first aid. Remember to speak calmly and confidently.
iii. Get permission to provide care. Tell them your name, level of training, and how you're going to help them.

2. After finding out that the person has difficulty breathing you must send someone to Call 9-1-1.
v. Check Head to toe. Ask before doing so. Remember do not ask the person to move any area where they may feel discomfort.
2. Check the skin appearance and temperature. Ask yourself-
4. Check their shoulders. Ask person to shrug shoulders.

3. Check for breathing. In this case NO BREATHING.
Scenario 2: Unconscious Person, Breathing
f. Keep the victim warm and comfortable.
9. Go into rescue breathing until you see the chest clearly rising, if you're too tired, or EMS personnel have arrived.
