Unfortunately, murder and killing is an event that we live with on a daily basis. Whether it has to do with a homicide, robbery, revenge, or even occasional justifiable murders (such as the preventative measure of killing wanted terrorists) there is always someone to blame. It doesn't matter of a person had been neglected as a child or played violent games, as long as the persons finger pulled the trigger they are to blame. Why should we have to look for someone to blame when the killer is right in front of our face. Enough looking for technicalities to help out these criminals

In the essay Supremacy Crimes, renowned feminist Gloria Steinem writes that the public are the ones to blame. She takes a huge portion of America, classifies them as white, heterosexual males, and says that they tend to become addicted to so called "Supremacy Crimes". I do not agree with Steinem's approach that crimes that are committed by white heterosexua


We must try not to shelter our children from all this murder that goes on, but we must just show our children whats right from wrong. Another idea would be to possible offer incentives to studios to tone down violence on television (since it can't be outlawed). We don't need to help these people because they were neglected as children. Nor do we need to help find them loopholes in the law to help them go Scot-free. What needs to be done is provide them with the quick trial they are entitled to by the Constitution, then execute them to make examples of them, so that the next person who picks up a gun or any other weapon,- will think twice before committing a murder.

Occasionally you can have famous psychiatrists or criminologists analyze a crime and then try to get the American public to sympathize with the killers. Sometimes they blame the parents, occasionally the friends. We must understand that there is only so much a parent can do to stop
