During the past quarter century, abortion has joined race and war as one of the most debatable subjects of controversy in the United States. It discusses human interaction where ethics, emotions and law come together. Abortion poses a moral, social, and medical dilemma that faces many individuals to create a emotional and violent atmosphere. This life imposes on us a moral obligation to preserve it and that abortion is tantamount to murder. Abortion should be illegal because there are other options available, it is mainly used as birth control, abortion is a harmful process to your health, and it undercuts the very principal this country was made on. Abortion should be illegal because it is not the only option when having a child. There are other options for you other than terminating your unborn child. You could give your child up for adoption. By doing that, you could help two people become a family. Yes, there will always be a part of you missing that will never be able to be filled, but at least you will know you did the right thing.
