The Constitution Party
The Constitution Party is built on three fundamental ideals: men are better left to their own means, taxes are overabundant in our society, and government needs to shrink. Using this ideals as a basis, the party has drawn up its platform on all of the major issues at stake in this election. Crime: We feel that we need to be tough on crime, but still be able to maintain the rights of the people. Gun Control: As it has been shown repeatedly over time, specifically in Sweden, the more guns in the world, the lower the crime. Social Security Reform: We feel that people should be put in control of their own future, and support the complete privatization of the Social Security system. Capital Punishment: We are pro capital punishment for the most sever crimes, and only in cases where guilt is absolutely certain. Campaign Finance Reform: We support the McCain-Feingold reform act and the ideals presented in it. Tax Reform: We support both a state and federal flat tax and seek to eliminate the income taxes of today. Gas Prices: We are for lower gas prices. To accomplish this we propose the drilling of all available domestic sources, as well as forced expansion of our refining plants.
