The Constitution Party
The Constitution Party is built on three fundamental ideals: men are better left to their own means, taxes are overabundant in our society, and government needs to shrink. Using this ideals as a basis, the party has drawn up its platform on all of the major issues at stake in this election. Crime: We feel that we need to be tough on crime, but still be able to maintain the rights of the people. To do this we support standards for police to meet as well as better training to handle all types of situations. Gun Control: As it has been shown repeatedly over time, specifically in Sweden, the more guns in the world, the lower the crime. Social Security Reform: We feel that people should be put in control of their own future, and support the complete privatization of the Social Security system. Capital Punishment: We are pro capital punishment for the most sever crimes, and only in cases where guilt is absolutely certain. Campaign Finance Reform: We support the McCain-Feingold reform act and the ideals presented in it. Tax Reform: We support both a state and federal flat tax and seek to eliminate the income taxes of today. Gas Prices: We are for lower gas prices. To accomplish this we propose the drilling of all available domestic sources, as well as forced expansion of our refining plants.
