Steve was a hard worker, of this I had no doubt because not once had I ever heard him complain. Steve had a tendancy to stay quiet until our teams moment of need. He would slowly and suddenly arise from the dust as if he were a mesenger of a distant king, delivering a few short, emotional, and "to the point" words to stir our team to victory. I believe Steven's views and attitudes toward soccer much reflect his views and attitudes toward life. Every part of Steve reflects how hard a worker he is. Not once has he ever given up, or even complained. No matter how bad we were losing, how cold it was or how unfair the referes were being, Steve remained calm, focused, and unchanging, as if in a constant Narvana. Steven's ominous bliss was only broken for seconds at a time, and not by rage or fear or hatred, but by humor. I can honestly say Steven Hill is one of the funniest people I have ever had the pleasure of knowing.
