Title of the story: ‘FAMILY ‘BASHH’.Rafael Miranda and his three teenage children (a girl and two win boys) has filed a lawsuit for being wrongfully arrested and violently handled by police for allegedly arguing and yelling at an off duty police officer. Miranda was picking up his two sons from catholic school. The incident erupted when Ramon Miranda and the off duty police officer clashed as they attempted to negotiate a lane closure near the school. Miranda yelled to the other driver in Spanish, ‘You need to learn how to drive’. Ramon Miranda claims that the officer shouted obscenities back, and then blocked the Miranda’s path by moving his vehicle alongside a parked NYPD patrol car. As the off duty officer spoke to the uniformed cops, Miranda sent one of his son’s to investigate. The suit claims the son was quickly surrounded by cops, handcuffed and held face-down on the hood of the off duty officer’s town car.
