Kennedy assasination

It's the most controversial cases in American history. Did Lee Harvey Oswald in fact kill President Kennedy alone, or was there a conspiracy involved? And if there was a conspiracy was Oswald involved? Most Americans believe that indeed there was a conspiracy and there is more to the story than what the government would like the public to know. Almost immediately following this assasination there has been numerous theories presented which contradict the governments story. Many of these theories have valid arguments which cannot be ignored. This incident took place nearly 40 years ago but the contoversy surrounding this incident has not dwindled one bit.

John F. Kennedys legacy as president of the United States goes beyond the assasination. JFK was looked at as a symbol of progressive liberalism who would be against such wars as the war in Vietnam and the Cold War. Many conspiracy theorist believe that the asssasination was an attempt to stop the progressive ideas of Kennedy. But above all else Kennedy was looked at as a gifted speaker and leader who was assertive and always had his hand on the pulse of America.

November 22, 1963 was a day that will forever be a glaring day in American History a day that will be remembered fo

One main argument made by skeptics is that the fact that Oswald shot three bullets and connected with two from nearly 200 feet away on the top of the TSBD building is impossible and would surpass his abilities. However Oswald had received previous training which would suggest that Oswald would be more than capable of accomplishing this. Oswald was a former Marine and Served over seas for several years, while in the Marines he was tested several times for his shooting skills, he both times received very respectable scores and received the ranking of a marksmen. On top of this traing Oswald was said to be an avid hunter, while living in the Soviet Union he received a hunting license and apparently went out hunting several times. Many actually say that for a person with this kind of training this shot would not be very difficult at all.

Along with the CIA theory there are also some more abstract theories which are intereting to look at. One such theory is the "Umbrella Man" theory. There are several pictures taken which show a man with a black Umbrella standing near the motorcade, the odd thing about this is that there was seemingly no real reason for an Umbrella. Some claim that this man might have actually given a sign to someone triggering the shots are maybe actually used the Umbrella to fire a dart at Kennedy. This is a pretty ridiculuos idea, but surprisingly a weapon such as this was not completely unheard of.

On top of this very legitamite motive there is also some evidence which supports the idea that Oswald is guilty of this act. For one there are several accounts by eyewittnesses of Shots being fired from the Texas School Book Depository which is exactly where the government claims Oswald shot from. Also a bolt action Italian made 6.5 mm Manlicher-Carcano rifle was found on the same floor from which the shots were supposedly fired from. This gun was assumingly owned by Oswald whose handwriting matched the handwriting used to fill out the money order and order form to purchase the gun. The best evidence provided to verify that Oswald was the lone assasin is contained in the Official Warren Commission Reports published in 1964. These reports were an attempt by the Government to end the conspiracy theories and validate the fact that Lee Harvey Oswald was the lone assassin.

The CIA might have actually had more motive than Oswald. Kennedy may have been viewed as a threat to the "national security" of the United States. Kennedy betrayed the CIA and the anti-Castro Cubans during the Bay of Pigs Invasion by not providing promised air support, this resulted in many invaders being killed. Kennedy following this incident fired Allan Dulles as head of the CIA because of the poor executi
