Remembered Event - Trip to San Diego
This past summer, my mom was going on a business trip to San Diego, and she asked me if I wanted to come along. We had gone to Florida a few times in the past and I loved the coast, and big cities, so I said yes. She also asked me if I wanted to take a friend along and I thought that would be awesome, because I would get to have someone to hang out with down there, instead of being alone. So I took my friend Cole A, he is a year older than me. We both took work off, and went down there for 5 days. Cole has never been in an airplane before, so the plane ride itself was exciting for him. We flew from Minot, to Minneapolis, then to Los Angeles, and then finally to San Diego. He loved the plane ride, I think that he took half a role of pictures before we even got to San Diego. I like the airports because you are exposed to a lot of different culture. In Minneapolis, for example, there are people coming and going from all over the world, not just the Unites States. They also have a large selection of shops that you can visit while you wait for your flight. When we got to San Diego, we went right to the hotel, and both Cole and I were tired. I was sick, and I went to sleep, and his foot was hurting. He went to the doctor there and it turns out he had an ingrown toenail. I slept for a few hours and then we went exploring around the town. His foot was hurting, so we didn't go rollerblading but we just walked around the boardwalk and it was awesome. The next day, my mom took us out to get something to eat, and then we went down by the health spa. There was a pool there, and a place to lay out in the sun, which we did for a few min every day. There was also a hot tub, outdoors, and that was awesome at night. It did actually get chilly there as well, so it felt really nice. We were by the coast and contrary to belief it was not that warm there. It was June, and it was warmer in North Dakota, than it was in California. Later that night, we were just walking along the street and we heard this bass system. We didn't really think much of it cause there were people driving around all over, but we were trying to see where it was coming from. We saw this big black bus driving and we looked at eachother and laughed thinking "of course its not coming from a bus". But sure enough as it got closer, it was coming from the bus. We were freaking out, thinking that it was the coolest thing ever. We tried to follow it, to see where it was going and it stopped a block or so down. We asked him where he was
