Treasure Island
Treasure Island is a story based in the days of sea adventures and pirates, and is narrated by a young boy, Jim Hawkins. The story begins at the Admiral Benbow Inn, home of Jim Hawkins and his family. A mysterious stranger, who calls himself the captain, rents a room at the inn and lives in fear of an one-legged man, and asks Jim to keep a lookout for him. One day a strange man visits the inn and asks Jim for Billy Bones, known as the captain. The captain realizes that this man is a buccaneer called Black Dog, and has a stroke. After receiving another visit from a blind man, known as Old Pew, the Captain dies. After his death Jim and his mother search the captain's chest and find some foreign money and a folded map. Jim takes the map to Squire Trelawney and doctor Livesey in the town and they decide to search for the lost treasure of Captain Flint, one of the most dangerous buccaneers that ever lived. Th
The ship sets sail but before arriving at Treasure island while he is inside an apple barrel, Jim overhears the cook and some of the crew plotting to kill them after the arrive on the island and keeping the treasure for themselves. Jim realizes that the crew are buccaneers and were part of Captain Flint's crew. Old Pew and Silver had been friends. Jim tells the captain, the Squire and the doctor what he overhears and they plan their strategy. The crew goes ashore with Jim and the buccaneers start killing the crew whom is loyal to the captain. While on the island Jim meets Ben Gunn, a pirate who was marooned on the island three years before by his crewmates. He had been part of Captain Flint's crew. Ben promises to help Jim and his friends. The Captain, the doctor, Redruth, Hunter and the squire sailed off in a lifeboat with supplies to fight the buccaneers.
