So then I realized that it must not be the brains, but something else. When I got a little older and a little more angered with life as an early teenager, I began to really love the way Metalica sounded. I would put my stereo as loud as it could go and just sit there in my room reading the lyrics on the CD cover. Just listening to it in my room would let me forget about whatever was bothering me at the time, and showed me that I wasn't the only one around having issues in my life and just hearing someone else sing about it can really boost up your moral.
