Although Rose set and still holds many major league baseball records, the league has refused to lift its ban to allow one of the greatest players in its history to be elected into the Hall of Fame. Although this man did so much good for the league, how can he be acknowledged as one of the best to ever play if nobody knows if he played with the baseball's best intentions. Many people believe Pete Rose should be eligible for the Hall of Fame because he was one of the most prolific batters in the history of the league.
