Lady Macbeths role in Macbeth

In Scotland in the 1000's, women did not have as much power as men. Women were thought of more as maids or meant to stay at home and take care of their children then to work. In the play Macbeth, Lady Macbeth was not the typical lady from this time frame. She was not only a powerful and driven lady that deeply cared about her husband, as well, she had the power to instigate him to carry out tragic events that affected the lives of others forever. With a little love, compassion and power, is it possible to make others carry out events that may change them and others for the rest of their lives?
