A detailed Summary of Letter back home


I hope all is well back in the states; things aren't going too bad here. We have been at war for a good month now and they tell me that I am only able send one letter a week. I also hear that it takes nearly a month for a letter to reach back home, so much time may have passed before you read this.

Right now my platoon is assigned to the trenches, may god let this war be over soon. The noise goes on and on, blast after blast and shelling after shelling. We continually get hit and the bodies are piling up fast. The medics cannot remove all the bodies so the remaining just get
