V.S. Naipaul
A detailed Summary of V.S. Naipaul
In the work by V.S. Naipaul, "Becoming a Writer," which is an excerpt from his work, "Prologue to an Autobiography, 'Finding the Center'," Naipaul tells his background and how he struggled, as a writer, to come to terms with who he was as a writer and a person. It is evident how as he ages and gains experience, he gains wisdom and peace. Another writer, Jorge Luis Borges, also wrote a work which sheds light on how he has gained peace and hope, and something can be learned from analyzing how the blindness he received at age 56 affected his attitude and development.
