From Hear to Heaven
I have progressed greatly over the past two years that I have spent at Rolstor Middle School. My English teachers have been caring, compassionate people that have taught me about expressing my feelings in my work. I believe I have done that in my English pieces. Also in my portfolio are selected Algebra, Social Studies and Science pieces that are my best work from those classes. Not only did I score highly on all of my work, I also feel that I put in extra effort to make these works even better. On all of my pieces I feel that I put in hard work and dedication and was rewarded for it. While writing poetry on topics for this notebook, I wrote many of my own poetry that usually show how my life is like as a teen living in silicon valley, where expectations are incredibly high, while I try to balance two sports all at once. This poetry is sometimes lonely and sad, and sometimes joyous and happy, depending on the occasion. I feel that overall I did pretty well on my Notebook, but I believe I could have done better. I could have spent more time on my own poetry, making the rhythm and rhyme patterns more fluent. Many of my pieces were detailed, but not completely. If I could redo parts of my Notebook, I would revise my poetry, making it flow and be more detailed. Overal
