Three Types of Holidays
Most of us loves time, when he or she can leave work or school and go to holiday. People frequently spend their holiday by sitting at home, by going to grandparents or going somewhere abroad. I am not an exception. During 19 years I have been living, I had many holidays. I had had all three kinds of holidays noted earlier. Every one of them looked different. Some were good, some were bad, but I will never hate holidays, because just in this time you can do everything that you want. Many times, poor people who do not have money for paying a trip somewhere, if it is abroad or somewhere within their country, stay at home. They would often like to go somewhere, but they cannot. They do not earn enough money for their survival, let alone for vacation. Other people are staying home not because of money, but because of some other reasons. Some hate traveling and some like their homes so much that they could not leave it. There are many ways to spend your holidays at home. For example, you can watch TV or play computer games. If you have money, after vacation at home and vacation with grandparents, you can try to go to vacation somewhere abroad. Although, it is the most expensive way to spend holidays, people like it, because many of us are "naturally globetrotters" and if we could we would like to know all parts of word. And why are the holidays abroad the most expensive ways? Because you have to pay for accommodation, food, transportation, and specifically, you are going there to experience something special and nowadays nothing is for free. In addition, costs are getting higher and higher. Many people spend their holidays nearby "salt water", because Slovakia is an inland country; therefore, it is natural, that since we do not have any access to sea, we go there. Most popular places are Croatia, Bulgaria, Spain, Greece and Italy. On the other hand, not everybody wants to go to the beach and do sunbathing. Many of us love countryside like ours, and they prefer holidays on hills. They are going to Austria, Switzerland, Chile or Nepal.
