A Day In the Life of Dorothy Bradford
It’s been only a few weeks since we have all left for our new home. The boat is awful, and I do not know how I will ever get used to it. But, I don’t complain. . we are all here together, we all have the same dreams and same hopes for the future. In a few short weeks our lives will be changed forever. William talks of this place as though he had already been there, and lived on it. He imagines such a world where anything is possible, and I too find myself dreaming of this “promise land”, as they say. And I dream of what the future holds for me, and for William. I pray to God that everything turns out the way we imagine it will. The days seem to be getting longer. Our enthusiasm and excitement is slowly fading. It has rained for the past three days now, which has not helped the spirits of the crew.
