Alphonse Capone was born on January 17, 1899 in Brooklyn, New. His parents immigrated to the United States in 1893 from Italy. Capone was from a family of eleven and was the fourth oldest. He grew up in a dangerous neighborhood of Brooklyn and was a member of two Kid Gangs the Brooklyn Rippers or Bin Booms. Capone was very good when it came to street smarts. Al was terrible in school because he was illiterate. He was kicked out of school in the sixth grade, when he was 14.
