Teiresias is blind and may not be able to see the physical world but can see into souls, hearts, and minds. Oedipus send is right hand man Creon to Delphi to find out the truth. When Creon comes back and tells him what he heard Oedipus gets very angry. Oedipus doesn't hate Creon he is just upset and confused. He can't face the truth. He accuses Creon of wanting to be king. Creon has no need to be king and doesn't want to be. He already has everything that comes with being king without the problems.
