Teaching as a Lively Art

This usually happens around age six, Steiner believed students would be ready to learn at this age. This is characterized by being fat and dumpy. These individuals are said to be lazy, very nice and pleasant. Finally, a sanguine person would be the most normal or standard. Everything interests them and they are always doing something.

There is no principal, no supervisor, but instead all teachers share the joint responsibility. Each teacher has equal say in the hiring and firing of all faculty members. The teachers must be fresh, eager to learn as well as have a mastery of subject matter. The teacher must also be spirited, gentle, patient, and firm in self-control.
