A detailed Summary of Philosophy paper

For this assignment I decided to report on the bible. I choose this book because

it's something that I've grown up learning about and it speaks on everything that this

assignment consists of. Growing up in church, I've found that reading the bible helps you

in everyday life. Life, death, justice, morality, power, society, reason, and divinity are all

I'll start with life because that's where it all began. The first story that comes to

mind when speaking of the bible usually is Adam and Eve. This story begins in Genesis,

the first chapter, starting at verse 26. God creates man and calls him Adam, and from

Adams rib he creates woman and calls her Eve. They lived in perfect peace until Eve was

tempted by a serpent and ate from a forbidden tree called the tree of life. After she ate

from the tree, she went and had Adam do the same. Before eating from this tree they had

no knowledge of being naked, but once they had, t

9:6 says, "but that ye may know that the Son of man hath power on earth to forgive sins,

we don't even call it the bible, we simply call it the word because it speaks nothing but
