A detailed Summary of Human Sexuality


Sexuality is something which causes great pleasure and much pain, almost as much so as love. Discovering your sexuality or even having sex for the first time can cause pleasure and pain, regardless of sexual orientation.

I would imagine it¯s difficult for our gay brothers and sisters to have to deal with their sexual orientation. Most people look down on it and see it as wrong, and you have to deal with stereotypes that are usually negative. I¯m sure it¯s not easy to hear majority of today¯s youth running around calling each other cfags¯ when they make fun of each other. Nobody likes to be called names, and it¯s even worse to be persecuted for simply being who you are. But it has to bring happiness at some point in order for them to put up with so much negativity. The sexuality choice that makes the least sense to me is bisexuality. It¯s ok for women, if not completely encouraged. However, guys still get labeled


I have been told that when you are married, you stop having sex. This wouldn¯t bother me if I haven¯t heard it from every single married male member of my family. I blame them for being °old school±. This entails falling into the general male sexual scripts, having sexual dysfunctions, and not being willing to have extra-marital sex. In the world I grew up in, we are aware of looming sexual dysfunction, so we stock our shelves with pornography to keep us °stimulated±. We take vitamins and exercise so that we¯re firing on all cylinders, and we realize that sex can be casual, so why stop having it with other women once you¯re married? Our society has changed so that infidelity is not the taboo it has been and not just men are guilty of committing adultery anymore.
