The dictionary defines offense as "the means and tactics used in attempting to score against an opponent." Some of the most effective offenses in football are the T-formation, the I-formation, and the split-back offense. These three run formations are just some of the strategies used to pick apart defenses and score points. In order for the offense to score points, they need to run the football.
(TS) The T-formation is very effective and gives you an advantage over defenses. (CD) In the T-formation offense, there are three backs lined up behind the quarterback to work with. (CM) One back can fake a handoff, and another deliver a crushing block. (CM) Now, the third back can receive the handoff and follow the block and run for a touchdown.
