For instance, many crimes and drug activities in many communities are heavily associated with gangs. While cities such as Chicago and Los Angeles have always been known for their chronic amount of gang activity, gangs have spread rapidly throughout this country. Consequently, this has lead to an enormous amount of teenage youth getting involved in gangs for reasons that vary. One of the most notable reasons why kids get involve in gangs is that gangs offer kids a sense of belonging which many of them lack at home.
