Most Americans see themselves as people who are different than other people in America. If you were to ask an American what their culture was, they probably would say that they have no culture, and that they just use cultures of their ancestors. Americans tend to believe that they choose their own values; however, the values that are chosen have things in common. These values include being individuals; being equal to everyone; kindness to everyone; ability to use time; and having success.Americans are very devoted to being individuals. Ever since they start their education, Americans are taught to think and act based upon their own feelings. Without this value, Americans probably would just copy everything that foreign lands do.
