All Americans who lived through what happened on September 11, 2001 will never forget the tragedy that occurred on that day for no reason. Terrorists decided to attack our buildings, with our own planes and our own people onboard them just because they did not like the way Americans lived their lives and what they thought America stood for. I know I will never forget who told me of the attacks, or where I was and who I was with when I finally seen on T.V. what was going on.

Having to re-watch the planes hit the twin towers and come crashing down, hearing the bodies falling to the ground, and seeing the sheer panic and fear in everyone's eyes made me want to cry. I cannot even imagine what was going on in the rescue workers' heads. They all seemed scared and very angry at what was going on around them, but yet they knew that they could not lose their self-control. Since 9/11, I feel even greater pride saying that I am an American. I am sort of scared that there might be another attack on Americans, but I am not really concerning myself with it. I know that the country has done a lot to ensure that we are protected, especially in the airports. I do believe that a lot more could be done and definitely should be done.
