Don't drink and drive. I'll never forget that night. That sound and that crash. Life for me will never be the same again. How would you like to have no use of any of your limbs again? Every thirty minutes, someone on this continent dies of an alcohol-related crash. Also, last year alone over one million people were injured in alcohol related traffic accidents. Statistics show that in 2000-2001, two hundred and thirty-three people have died from drunk driving. The more a person drinks, the more ability to make important driving decisions becomes damaged. After just one drink, a driver can begin to lose their capability to perform the tasks essential to drive a car. Such as: steering, braking, changing lanes, and using judgment to adjust to changing road conditions. At a certain point, a driver will become legally intoxicated and can be arrested for attempting to operate a motor vehicle.
