Curley's wife is a good example of pele need peole. She was alwyta walking around asking poeple "Have you guys seen Curley?"and when they said no she would try to stay there and start a conversation, btu nobody would wnat to talk to her because she was the boss's son's wife and someone might rat on someone else whcih would lead to someone getting fired. So the eventual result was no one would talk to Curley's wife, leaving her alone with no friends. So she ended up being mad at everyone and trying to get other peoples attention by flirting with them, giving her a non-respectable socirty name.

Crooks is one of the best edamples of lonliness in the bok. He was a lonley black stbale buck that wasn't treated as fairly as the oter workers on the farm because he's black.
