Salem Witch Trails
Salem Mass was a very small and unpopulated community with one thousand habitants. In 1962, many people were trailed, as witches because of a small out break that know one knew how to cure. Evidence was not accurate in the trials and would cause over nineteen deaths. People who were affected by this strange disease were within the ages of nine to twenty years of age. Many of theses symptoms in today's society can be diagnosed and or cured. Many of these women that were on trial were just ordinary women that had shown some dislike in the way things were done or just did what was expected of them and still were wrongly accused of a crime that had no really evidence to prove it even existed. Many children were affected by these strange symptoms of being possessed. In Salem there had only been 6 cases of possessed girls. Some women that were accused are Sarah Good, Susannah Martain, Elizabeth How, Sarah Wilds, Rebecca Nurse, Sarah Osborne, Tituba. All most every girl that was affected by these symptoms would testify to what they saw when they were in the company of they ladies or even what they saw in the bewitched state. Neighbors also testified against you like if there was a fight between the two of you or even afterwards if an animal got sick of a family member died they would testify that you were a witch. Many women faced these trails and never really understood the reasoning behind it. Should a woman show no sign of a witch's mark, guilt could still be established. ...she was stripped naked and the executioner shaved off all her body hair in order to seek in the hidden
