What is religion? What is the role of religion in our lives? Religion has been described as a belief in god.... Belief that is without any reason except that god is there to be worshiped than to be questioned. But another meaning of the word could be the belief of a person in his own self, and has nothing to do with god at all. So then religion could be any kind of feeling, force or drive that motivates a person toward his or her desires, whatever they may be. This divides the world into two halves, on one hand is the group that says, “we believe in god and all his power without any doubt or questions” and on the other hand is the group that says, “We don’t believe in the concept of god, we however believe in achieving our goals and that is our religion. There many reasons why people don’t believe in god, it could be due to their deep faith in modern science and its discoveries.
