. In our Nation the economic structure has been through several turbulent times that saw recession. The 1940's were a time of economic infancy as the "New Deal" mentality and the continued revitalizing of the economy was the thinking prior to 1941 when the Japanese attacked the United States. America was still a largely agricultural dependent society. Even though there was movement to the cities, the numbers of people who where building America to become an industrial power were still moving slow enough to enable the economy to remain somewhat stabile. At the onset of WWII, the Nation emerged as a country that no longer had to rely on certain firms outsid
