Good and evil are both represented throughout "The Two Towers" in many different ways and through various characters. The One Ring rules over the one who bears it and along with that comes the inevitable evil possessed within the ring; the ring is just simply pure evil and power. Good on the other hand is represented through the group of men, elves, and dwarfs trying to dispose of the ring and triumph over the evil within. Evil is constantly on the heels of good, but good constantly prevails. Frodo has a constant battle with the evil possessed in the ring, and with others trying to get the ring, because they have a need for the power it possesses. Evil is constant power and killing, without looking at the effects of kindness and logic that good has.
