A detailed Summary of Hackers

This report is on hackers. I think at some point in time, everyone wants to be a hacker, maybe just to change a few grades on the report card, or even just to be the first one to know when the next Playstation system comes out. But some hackers are down right felons. Some, if not most of them, use their hacking knowledge to "try" and hack into big companies, or even home personal computers to get stocks, credit card numbers, or anything that they want for that matter. They can do these kinds of things by a bunch of techniques, that are known of now. One of the techniques is called "Denial of Service Attacks". What this is, is something that has been made to completely block out important users from websites and or networks. In order to do this, the hacker or hackers will make a program that will constantly ask the victim computer information until the computer can

not answer any other questions what so ever. This eventually makes the computer boot out the important user and or shuts down the computer completely. Another way of hacking is called "DNS Spoofing". This technique is basically used by the important user. When you type in a web address, your computer searches a database called the Domain Name Service (DNS). When you do this, your computer translates the words into numbers and finds the web page that you wanted to go to and then brings it up on your screen. What hackers will do is duplicate or alters an ID number for a web page, so that the victim computer will pull that one up instead of the original.
