A detailed Summary of Themes of Lord of the Rings
J.R.R. Tolkien was one of the most beloved writers of all time. His works of
art have often been said to surpass everything in literature with the exception of
the Bible. In his novels the reader is kept captivated with story after story and
enthralled by the mythical wonder and greatness of his books. For my independent
study project I have chosen to study his famous novel, The Lord of the Rings.
More specifically I have chosen to explore the themes that are explored within
the first part, The Fellowship of the Ring.
