Aristotle a famous mathematician, who was also famous for his contributions to systematizing deductive logic was born on 384 BC in, Macedonia, Greece on the Chalcidic peninsula of northern Greece. His father was Nicomachus, a medical doctor, while his mother was named Phaestis. Phaestis's family owned property in Chalcis in Euboea. Nicomachus wanted his son to become a doctor because the passing on of career was something that happened often between father and son. His father died when he was just a ten year old boy
