At the beginning of my high school career I didn't understand the importance of good grades. I didn't realize that years later my grades would be a reflection of me. Having friends that were seniors my sophomore year, I saw how hard they worked and how important their good grades were. Now I strive for all A's, it is now something that is important to me! With that experience I am aware that I have to work hard in college and my academics need to come first in order for me to succeed.

All of those experiences have taught me more than I can even express. I have learned social skills, organization skills, and I have learned how to work under pressure. All those experiences have made me a more intelligent and mature individual, which makes me a person who can handle anything thrown at me in college.
