A detailed Summary of Life of a Rich Man

Christmas is my favorite time of the year. This is when I walk around practicaly eating my way through the day. There is food everywhere and people are so cheery and daydreamers that they do not stop and look at the pretty, washed dogs to feed, over the older one who has not had a bath in too many dog years to count.

I do not so much worry about being warm. As long as I have food, I forget about being cold. But then again, who am I to complain? Dogs are always warm. We were made to love outside. Humans do not have this kind of specia treatment. But then again, humans can complain!

I remember when I was just a little pup and this little red-head girl with the biggest rosy cheecks took me in. Her bright blue eyes lit up so much when she brought me in front of her parents. Her mother almost had a heart atack; she started screaming and shrieking. The father was more understanding. He nicely told her to get the little ugly pup out of his face. Well, for the 20 minutes she hid me under the bed, and the two it took her parents to get me out, I never heard so many complaints. The people had

I sat down next to him with my toungue stretched all the way out, and breathless. Taking a break from a long search of food in the hot weather, brought me to sit there. His half-white mustache covered the words that were coming out, but the tearful eyes told me everything. This man was in pain.

I did not even stop to wonder where in the world he got that on Christmas Eve, I was too hungry to care.

I decided to head from the food search around the Christmas lit streets and go find Nicolae. I want to make sure he is well and if there is anything I can do for him, I darn well will. Everyone around these streets look so busy. It's vary dark outside but I did not even notice since the lights are so bright and colorful. There are decorated trees everywhere. If they took the money to decorate all these trees and donated it to the shelter, a lot less people would be starving on Christmas Eve.

Nicolae is a vary different man. I am so amazed at the fact that his only happiness is to make others happy. Everytime he is handed money, he only takes what is strictly necessary to live, and hands the rest down to others who need it a lot more than him. The same goes for food and anything esle he is given by people.

That is why I picked him. He is such a happy man. At only 48 years old, you imagine one would have a family or at least if he did not, he would talk about what a waste this life has been and how everything is so wrong left and right. Happiness has not always been his first priority like that, though.

And at that moment I realized that all those years ago when Nicolae gave up his life, it wasn't to prove to himself that he can do it, or to make the front page of the newspaper that he gave away two million dollars in stocks to the poor. It was to make others feel welcome on this planet we call earth, and to feel happy inside. If that is what he thought would, give up everyth
