When I go into New York City on a crisp autumn morning and bring a few pieces of charcoal, a watercolor kit and a sketchbook, the urban atmosphere stimulates my creativity and natural inner urge to design, particularly fashion designs. When I visited the university, I considered a different way I might eventually integrate my love of the arts into a unique career. The psychology curriculum interests me tremendously. In any aspect of the arts, whether in fashion or the fine arts, the understanding of human motivation and the human psyche will be a critical element for success. Colors, textures, and designs make people feel, behave and relate to their environments in different ways.
