A detailed Summary of Future government?


In the book "The Giver" it talks about government control and suppression of its people. This, I feel, is a warning of what can happen if we do not remain active in our government through voting, holding of office, and many other choices that we are given. Throughout this paper, I will explain what I got from the book "The Giver" in what government can become if we do not put our voice out there.

Government can take over our lives by taking away our basic rights and freedoms. We must be aware of what is going on in our government, and to question its authority to an extent. Without this, we could become a socie
