A Tale of Two Cities was a book set during the French Revolution. It was a story of a family and girl finding her father, falling in love and escaping certain death. Charles Dickens used a lot of symbolism in this book. With just the first words of the book, the whole story was summarized, "It was the best of times, it was the worst of times..."
