Ralph and Jack turn into deadly enemies during the course of book "The Lord of the Flies." In The Lord of the Flies, written by William Golding, a group of English boy's plane crashes on an island in the middle of the ocean. The group has two boys vying for leadership of the group. These two boys are very competitive. They would kill each other if they got the chance. The two boys, Jack and Ralph, are boys who both very badly want to be the leader of the group.
The boys got to the island on accident. The plane they were in on a school trip crashed. The boys aren't all together at once. They eventually find each other. Ralph is first selected to be the leader
