Finest Moment
A detailed Summary of Finest Moment
"Oh man, why does this traffic jam happen everyday?" The person sits in front of me said distressingly.
"I know, I think we're going to be late again." The person replied with the same tone.
The traffic jams may be a nightmare to them, but for me, this is the finest moment of the day. This is because I am now sitting beside my old house. This house gives me many unforgettable memories. Every time when I pass by, I always uncontrollably think back on the day when I was moving out of the house.
It was the winter from last year. I was the first person to wake up, even earlier than my mum, who is usually the first person to get up. I walked down to the kitchen, and I looked at the surroundings outside the windows. The snow was falling from the sky, it seemed like it was extremely anxious to cover my entire driveway. There wasn't anyone on the street. The maple tree did not have any leaf left. The swallows had left their nest; they had gone to the far south. Even the active squirrels had hidden inside their cavities. I knew these people, swallows, and squirrels weren't acted willingly. They had been force to leave by the winter. The expressionless me sat there for a little while. It seemed like my life and hope

"What's wrong, Henry? Are you all right? How come you woke up this early?"
Then I went to pack up my stuff. When I got into my room, I saw many marks on the wall that I left behind when I was a little kid. Some of them were mine, and some of them were friends from my neighborhoods. I miss my friends from the neighborhoods. They were very nice to me. We used to go anywhere together. It's because they were my best friends.
After that, I started to have a habit. I started to play basketball for couple hours for every single day when I got off from school. Then there was a rememberable day for me. After I had jumped over the fences, I saw a sparrow lying beside my apple tree. I hurriedly ran up to the sparrow, it was seriously injured. I carefully put the sparrow onto my palm and ran inside my house hastily. Although I had bandaged the sparrow, it was too late. It stopped breathing. I took it under my apple tree and buried it.
"What are you doing?" My father, my mother, and my sister shouted simultaneously.
"Come on, Henry, help us to place the boxes onto the truck." My father asked me tiredly.
When it was one o'clock, they finally finish placing everything onto the truck, and everyone was inside the cars. I don't know. It might be the will of God. The snow began to drop more rapidly. When I heard the sound of the engine, I knew it was time to leave; it was the time to say goodbye to my kingdom. The cars started moving, because of the heavy snowstorm, my kingdom was getting misty. And then after 10 seconds, it had been disappeared. So until now, I still hate the snow.
