I knew that I wanted to go to college but I just did not know where. I wanted to come because I wanted to prove myself to everyone who doubted me. The most important reason I came to college was because I wanted to get an education so I

would be able to get a job after college. While I was in high school my father was going from job to job and we did not know if I was going to be able to afford me to go to the same high school and graduate with my friends because we did not have the money. I was worried every year was I able to go back to my high school and be with my friends. When I graduate from college I want to have a stable job so when I do have kids they do not have to worry about not being able to graduate with their friends.

I am happy with my decision to come to college. It has really gotten my mind off of things at home and I have met some really amazing people here. Coming here I did not think it would be such a change from home but there are many different people and many different cultures here at Gordon College. I am playing baseball and playing is what I love to do. It has the small town environment and not a lot of distractions when you are trying to study. Over all this is a great school and I would encourage anyone to come here for a college degree.
