Alcohol is very much a part of the world we live in. We watch TV and we may see at least five different commercials about alcohol. It pretty much encourages you to go get a beer, or if you don't drink, makes u want to go try it out. Also, when you listen to music, they sometimes mention different kinds of alcoholic drinks, more so the expensive kind but the influence is still there. So when in parties, in high school or college, there is usually alcohol somewhere there. This is sort of okay, when you are in the house, but when step foot into the drivers seat of a car, then there is a definite problem.
Soon as you step foot in the drivers seat of a car, you are just asking for trouble. Alcohol is a depressant, which slows down the processes occurring in the brain. Alcohol actually makes you LESS alert, but at the same

When drunk, you could feel as if you were going down the road at speeds no higher than 35 miles per hour, but in reality, you are actually going about 60 miles per hour, on a back road. Now if there was a cop sitting around and saw you driving at speeds that high, he would surely pull you over and the consequences would not be pretty. You could have your license revoked, you can be arrested and you would have a record.
