Eric Harris was the leader of the trench coat mafia and was obsessed with war. Eric wanted to fight in a war. The stories he wrote and the games he played were about war; he lived out his war fantasies in role-playing video games, like Duke Nukem and Doom like so many adolescent boys, where the basic goal is to kill as many people or demons as you can. Eric wanted to be a marine most of all. But he was rejected because of a drug he was prescribed called Luvox (Bowana). The problem with that is anyone who goes to the school with the intent of killing will not need much time to do so. By the time police or some one of authority arrives on the scene the deed is done. Also, as has been reported by former school shooters, there would be no way to keep a determined mind from possessing a gun and using it if he wanted to use it bad enough (Bowana), so there is most likely another underlying cause behind these shootings, someone just needs to find it. Recent studies may have done just that.

With no attempt at weaning the patient off the medication serious side effects occur. Overwhelming depression, terrible insomnia, and fatigue are the immediate side effects that can lead to psychosis and violent outbursts. This sounds just like a recipe for a violent attack on a school when the directions are followed by a child.

It is apparent that more has to be found out about the effect of antidepressants on children, but how many more children's lives have to be ruined before something is done about the over prescription of antidepressants?

People tend to believe that there is something about the way these kids are brought up or the environment that they are raised in that makes them into killers. If that were true then the FBI would have a profile on the type of kid that becomes a school shooter. The honest to God truth is that there is no profile on school shooters because contrary to popular belief they do not all wear black cloth
