Bermuda Triangle

A detailed Summary of Bermuda Triangle

The Bermuda Triangle is an unsolved mystery that leaves many people oblivious as to how it has taken away the lives of countless amounts of humans. The Bermuda Triangle mystery is said to have began in 1945, when a Navy Aircraft pilot left their Florida base on a routine training mission and was never seen again (Kurland,18). This mystery, in fact, has eliminated hundreds of vessels from commercial airplanes carrying hundreds of innocent people to navy submarines going on a test-drive. This incident arose lots of suspicion about the Triangle. People started to retell the story and stretch the truth in their own manner. The Bermuda Triangle has caused people to either fear the area, or to reject its legitimacy as a true mystery. But lately, the triangle hasn't taken anyone's life, so people feel more secure about it. But who knows? The Triangle could strike again, even today. There never have been any discovered wreckage when a plane, boat, or submarine was reported missing. This could be because of the Triangle's unique climate, bringing about many different weather patterns. Maybe the Triangle is just a natural spot of human error by coincidence? This makes sense because of the excessive amount of air traffic in the area. Many th

just made up to make the whole situation make sense. Many people believe a large magnetic vortex is present in the heart of the triangle. Like a black hole, so much concentrated magnetic energy is enough to be believed to transport a vessel and its occupants to another time and location (Reader's Digest, 73). During strong concentration of magnetism a compass points toward true north. A normal compass in a location outside the triangle would normally point toward magnetic north. This change could confuse pilots and cause them to go in circles. Inside the triangle, there have been many reports of compasses spinning wildly for no apparent reason. Also, if a plane can malfunction from the magnetic output of a Furby toy, imagine how much damage a powerful magnetic field could inflict. Since the magnetic waves would instantly cut off all power to the planes, it explains why the planes were never able to send out an S.O.S signal.

by much evidence and does not explain the undiscovered remains of planes.

The most interesting and mysterious fact about the Devil's Triangle is that there never have been any discovered wreckage when a plane, boat, or submarine was reported missing. People have searched the area many times over, but no bodies that were reported missing were recovered. There have been discoveries of planes with identified bodies in them on the bottom of the ocean that were stumbled upon off in the coasts outside of the Bermuda Triangle, but none of the found planes and bodies discovered were reported missing. Numerous sea vessels have vanished inside the Bermuda Triangle such as the Mount Horizon freighter, reported missing in 1980, or the Connemara IV yacht, reported missing in 1955.

horizon. These things are evidence of the mysterious weather patterns of the Devil's Triangle. (Knickelbein)

Once released, this gas will burst upwards in loads of bubbles, breaking into smaller bubbles are the rise of the gas occurs. Once reaching the top, these bubbles will lighten the weight of the surface of the ocean, causing a ship to suddenly lose buoyancy and sink. If the release of gas were extremely great, the gas would flow into the air causing engine failure in low-altitude planes.
