Society has many modes that man can fall into, but like society, the teen- age generation has some trends that we follow also. For example, most teenagers wear Jordan's, have cell phones, wear the most expensive clothes, stay out late, experiment with drugs, and the most controversial, having pre- marital sex. Some reasons for this could be curiosity, or devotion issues. For an example of devotion let's look at John and Tina. John and Tina have been going out for about a year now. John is a well known football player, and Tina is a devout Christian. Tina has lots of provocative friends who brag to her all the time about the wonderful times they have while having sex. Tina is aware of her morals and is faithful to what she believes. However, there are times that the feelings she experiences might cloud her thinking, or urge her to act solely on the emotions that are triggered at the thought of her boyfriend who she cares for so much. At these times Tina is torn between her devotion to her Creator, and her believed devotion to her body. John is no help. At these times he knows Tina is weak, and he plays on this knowledge by telling her the all too famous lines: "If you loved me you'd do it", and "I've known you for too long for you


Tina- Well look here, I don't want to be part of anybody's routine but God.You, or nobody else is gonna sit here and tell me what I should do with my body, and how I should do it, and when I should do it. How can you look to some one else to set the guidelines for what you do, what are you, a robot who just executes orders, or a puppet with someone's hand up your butt telling you how to operate?

John--- Look Rev. Sharpton, the point is, you aint givin it up like u supposed to, and for that, I'm out, one!
